Sergio Vellatti – Granada (Alejandro Fernandez/Placido Domingo cover)
“Granada” is a Mexican song written in 1932 by Agustín Lara. The song is about the Spanish city of Granada and has become a “standard” in music repertoire. The song has been covered many times throughout the years. Popular versions include those by Frankie Laine, Mario Lanza, Frank Sinatra, Luciano Pavorotti, Placido Domingo and, in German, by Fritz Wunderlich and Spanish pop-duo Baccara. The photo of myself used in this video was taken by Brigham Freeth. He’s an extremely talented photographer and I highly reccommend him for any event. Please check his website out at www.brighamfreethphoto.com I hope you all enjoy my humble attempt at this latin standard! Thanks for watching and please don’t forget to rate, comment and SUBSCRIBE!!!

Ottimo – great job on the vocal Sergio **** and superb video. You delivered high notes fluently and maintained a warm tone. It’s a demanding song but you have the technique to deliver. 664 views in a few days – wow! As we say in Welsh – da iawn, Sergio bach.

Thanks, my friend! I thought YOU out of all people would appreciate this song, considering that the three tenors sang it. I may try a Pavo piece soon!

Would you consider this Tenor? Hmmm….awesome! Feels more like a “tweener” to me. Light Baritone/second tenor, perhaps? Eh…anyway…thanks for the awesome comment, my friend!

Years ago, I visited Granada….and found it to be simply beautiful…so very rich in history and heritage. The pictures you have chosen in your video are colorful and indicative of this magnificent city. Thank you, Sergio, for reminding us of this exquisite part of Spain.

First of all thank you for the great share, Dear Sergio.
Two, I’m amazed by you, to your capacity to sing two different styles of music, and both performed excellent. It’s a delight to see these wonderful pictures from Granada, together with your beautiful music. Congratulations, and many thanks for Informations into description.
