David Arthur Brown (Brazzaville) – Barcelona from album Teenage Summer Days (2009) This is a song I wrote in Catalan about my beautiful adopted city. I love it so much here. It’s like a little kingdom by the sea. It’s cozy and small, but it still feels like a city. Maria Pi-Sunyer and I filmed our parts over at Dmitry Tikov’s (Dr Tikov) apartment on a blisteringly hot day during the summer of 2009. Dr. T then rode his bike all over the city gathering images to use in the background.
