   This song is so sad. It reminds me of my friend who died, and the last thing I ever did was fight with him. God I cry every time.

    I don’t like Christina, but I do love this song. I remember I always had this song stuck in my head. It’s such a personal, meaningful song, and I love the message.

    the writer, linda perry, wrote this about the passing of her fathe, and christna had her change it a bit to make it more relatable to more people…christina herself is estranged from her father, they dont’t talk because he used to abuse her mother

    i remember watching TRL when it existed, and this was the #1 video of the day, and right during the middle of it, my sister walked into my room and told me my brother had died , so everytime i hear this i think about him ;(

    this song always makesn me cry ;it reminds me of my great aunt . she died of cancer ,she was so nice .we visited her sometimes, but i wouldnt tell her how much i loved her. i never got the chance…..we still have her voicmails saved on our home phone when ever i hear them i cry and think of this song i never got the chance to tell her how muched i loved her……………

    Reminds me of my sister who died from skin cancer… I saw her only once or twice in the hospital. My dad wouldn’t let me go after things got really bad and she was hallucinating from the drugs they had her on. I should’ve fought my dad harder to see her. My parents were there to see her when she finally died and I wasn’t there. I feel like I betrayed her. I learned a lot from it and won’t make the same mistake.
