Daddy Yankee strikes again with the Premiere of his video for the single “El Mejor de todos los tiempos”. Yankee’s innovative vision broke records with the video for “Descontrol” in 2D and was the first Hispanic artist to also release the video in 3D. Daddy Yankee teamed up with one of his favorite Directors, Carlos Perez (Elastic People) to shoot the video. The video was shot “guerilla style” in black and white on the streets of New York City and includes scenes from his documented Latin American tour. It takes Daddy Yankee from the rugged and “back to basics” streets of New York, to sold out stadiums at the top of superstardom. Daddy Yankee was named by CNN as the Most Influential Hispanic Artist of 2009. He was also named by Time Magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential in the World in May 2006. Yankee was the recipient of Billboard Magazine’s Urban Latin Artist of the Decade and the Latin Album Artist of the Decade in December 2009. The Puerto Rican native has broken yet another barrier for the Latin artist community and was the first Latin Urban recording artist to guest star on CBS’ Emmy Award winning soap The Bold and the Beautiful, this past June.
