   It’s true; they aren’t artists anymore. Modern pop culture has bred an entire generation of philistines who can’t even comprehend artistic quality. Actual talent is becoming less and less prevalent because the consumers are deaf to it; they just want more of the gaudy, lewd image that has taken over the music industry.

   Hey, positive feedback is positive feedback. Sex sells, so therefore she (and every other pop singer, for that matter) will go on doing what they are doing because they’re making a shit-ton of money doing it. Personally, I think that’s ridiculous. “Artists” (is you can still call them such) seem to have lost sight of what music videos are supposed to be, and instead run around nearly naked, masking what little talent they actually have with auto-tune and tacky editing.

    Not really. “Bad Romance” was an amazing video. It was well-edited, the symbolism was well-done and it actually had something to do with the song. The same cannot be said for “Telephone” or “Alejandro”‘s videos. The Edge of Glory was a pretty good video too.
