To date, RBD has released 10 albums, including a crossover English album, and 5 DVDs, having sold over 22 million records. Even though their albums are mostly in Spanish, they achieved outstanding success in countries such as Brazil, Serbia, Romania, Japan and United States.RBD recorded their first CD, Rebelde, as the telenovela soundtrack, in 2004. Rebelde had three number one hits, and a fourth reacing number two, having sold over 550,000 copies in Mexico. Their Tour Generación, comprised of 35 sold-out concerts around the country, was released, in July of 2005, on CD and DVD. In 2005, Rebelde was released in Brazil (following the unexpected success of the telenovela in that country), and RBD released Rebelde – Edição Brasil, with 8 tracks in portuguese.Along with the telenovela’s second season, RBD released Nuestro Amor. The CD set new sales records in Mexico, selling 160,000 copies in its first week alone, and was also released in a Portuguese edition, Nosso Amor Rebelde. In the U.S., the CD topped the Billboard Latin Charts for three weeks, and peaked at #88 into the overall Top 100. Four singles were number ones in Mexico.
